⁵ That I may see the ^(A)goodness of Your chosen ones,
That I may ^(B)rejoice in the gladness of Your nation,
That I may ^(C)boast with Your ^[a]inheritance.

^6 (D)We have sinned ^(E)with our fathers,
We have committed iniquity, we have acted wickedly.
⁷ Our fathers in Egypt did not consider Your wondrous deeds;
They ^(F)did not remember Your abundant lovingkindnesses,
But they ^(G)rebelled by the sea, at the ^[b]Red Sea.
